Collaboration, Psychological Safety & “How We Work Together”

For teams struggling with trust, collaboration breakdowns, conflict avoidance, poor communication, or silo behaviour.

This work focuses on the day-to-day dynamics that shape team performance — the conversations teams have, the ones they avoid, and the agreements that determine how decisions are made, work flows, and accountability is held.

You’ll move from guarded communication and low trust to a cohesive team that can engage in open, meaningful conversations — with clearer expectations, fewer misunderstandings, and stronger ownership.

What the Team Journey Can Include:

(Selected based on your goals and objectives)

  • Communication Mastery — stronger connection, clearer communication, healthier conflict, better collaboration

  • Own Your Time — focus, prioritisation, and execution rhythms that reduce overwhelm

  • Personal Mastery — emotional intelligence, self-leadership, and accountability under pressure

  • Brand You: Team Brand & Professional Presence— shared values, behaviours, decision norms, and “how we show up” as a team

  • Resilience & Navigating Change — grounded performance through uncertainty, pressure, and change

  • Future Forward — a strategic reset that strengthens future-ready thinking, shared direction, and leadership identity

The Enneagram:

A Leadership & Team Development Tool

As a certified IEQ9 Enneagram practitioner, I use the Enneagram as a powerful insight tool to support personal leadership development, team effectiveness, and sustainable behaviour change.

Used well, the Enneagram deepens self-awareness, strengthens emotional intelligence, and improves how leaders and teams understand themselves and one another — particularly under pressure.

What is enneagram?

The Enneagram is a well-established framework that describes nine distinct leadership and behavioural styles, each shaped by different motivations, perspectives, and patterns of response.

Rather than focusing on what people do, the Enneagram explores why they do it — how individuals think, feel, decide, and relate to others, especially in moments of stress, conflict, or uncertainty.

Importantly, the Enneagram is not a labelling or “boxing” tool. The IEQ9 Integrative Enneagram recognises individuals as complex, layered, and dynamic — offering a nuanced understanding that evolves as people grow and circumstances change.

why work with the enneagram?

Organisations are made up of individuals and teams — and performance is shaped by how people interpret situations, manage emotion, communicate, and respond under pressure.

The Enneagram helps leaders and teams:

  • develop meta-awareness of the patterns that drive behaviour

  • understand what motivates themselves and others

  • identify blind spots, triggers, and default reactions

  • reduce predictable conflict and miscommunication

  • build empathy, trust, and psychological safety

By making unconscious patterns visible, individuals are better able to take responsibility for their behaviour, regulate their responses, and lead with greater intention and effectiveness.

Using the Enneagram as a development tool In Coaching:

In coaching and team environments, the Enneagram accelerates insight while also supporting long-term development.

It is not a quick or superficial intervention. Its depth allows leaders and teams to continue developing over time, as they face new challenges, transitions, and leadership demands.

Through elements such as motivational patterns, stress responses, centres of intelligence, and integration pathways, the Enneagram opens practical, personalised routes to growth — strengthening leadership capacity, emotional intelligence, and relational effectiveness in a way that endures.

How I Use It

I use the Enneagram selectively and responsibly — always in service of:

  • leadership effectiveness

  • healthier team dynamics

  • improved communication and decision-making

  • sustainable behaviour change

It is integrated alongside coaching, facilitation, and other evidence-based frameworks — ensuring insight translates into action, and growth is experienced in real workplace behaviour.
